About our village
Gandhinagar district is known as a green and beautiful district and has its own unique identity. It is also home to the Mahatma Mandir, which preserves the memories and ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
Palodia is the last village of Dahegam taluka of Gandhinagar district, situated on the boundary of Ahmedabad district.
People belonging to the Thakor, Prajapati and Patel communities, along with people who have come from other states for business and employment, live in this village. Palodia Gram Panchayat has its own special identity as a clean, well-organised and beautiful village.
The village has a population of 1,924 people, consisting of 961 males and 963 females.
A magnificent Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Entrance Gate stands proudly at the entrance of the village. As one enters through this gateway, trees planted along both sides of the road add to the beauty of the village.
The cleanliness of the village immediately attracts attention. The people of the village live together harmoniously and maintain a spirit of cooperation and unity during various community occasions and activities.
The proper planning and administration of the Gram Panchayat have contributed greatly to the development and maintenance of the village. As a result, the beauty and overall appearance of Palodia can be seen in a distinctive and impressive way.

Let us work together to make Palodia a model village-progressive in development, united in spirit and sustainable for generations to come.
It gives me immense pleasure and pride to present Palodia Village-a village with a strong sense of community, rich values, hardworking people and a promising future. Our village is not only a place where we live; it is our shared identity, our heritage and our responsibility. The development of Palodia depends on the active participation, cooperation and collective efforts of every resident. As the Sarpanch, my vision is to make Palodia a clean, green, digitally connected, prosperous and self-reliant village, where every family has access to essential facilities and every child gets the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed. We are committed to improving basic infrastructure, roads, water and sanitation facilities, education, healthcare, cleanliness, environmental protection and digital services. At the same time, we aim to create opportunities for women, youth, farmers, entrepreneurs and local businesses so that development reaches every section of our community. Our journey towards a Smart and Sustainable Palodia will be based on transparency, public participation and responsible use of resources. We believe that a truly developed village is one where modern facilities grow together with our traditions, culture and community values. I invite every citizen of Palodia, especially our youth and women, to actively participate in the development of our village. Together, we can build a village that is not only better for today but also prepared for the needs of future generations. Let us work together to make Palodia a model village-progressive in development, united in spirit and sustainable for generations to come. People's participation and responsible citizenship are the foundation of sustainable village development.
It is my privilege to be associated with the administration and development of Palodia Village. Palodia is a village with a strong community spirit, rich social values and hardworking citizens who have continuously contributed to the progress of the village. The role of the Gram Panchayat is not limited to providing basic civic services; it is also about creating an environment where every citizen can participate in the development process. Our efforts are focused on ensuring transparent administration, effective delivery of government services, cleanliness, sanitation, proper infrastructure, digital services and sustainable development. We believe that the progress of Palodia can be achieved through the collective efforts of the Gram Panchayat, elected representatives, government departments and, most importantly, the people of the village. Special attention should be given to education, women and youth empowerment, agriculture, employment opportunities, environmental protection, water conservation and the use of digital technology. These areas can play an important role in building a stronger and more self-reliant Palodia. Our vision is to support the development of Palodia as a clean, green, digitally enabled, well-managed and progressive village, while preserving its traditions, culture and community values. I sincerely encourage all residents to actively participate in Gram Sabha activities, village development initiatives and government programmes. People's participation and responsible citizenship are the foundation of sustainable village development. Together, with cooperation, transparency and a shared vision, we can make Palodia a model of rural development and create a better future for present and coming generations. With best wishes, Talati-cum-Mantri Gram Panchayat, Palodia Village Gujarat
